Working safely during COVID-19.

Making sure we can continue to help our clients safely

bookkeeping

At Rosemary Bookkeeping we are able to continue to provide our bookkeeping services to our clients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

The variety of cloud based packages that we work with allows us to process our clients bookkeeping remotely to ensure we can keep ourselves and our clients safe.

We understand that many businesses have had to put some business on hold or change the way they work and outsourcing lends itself perfectly to the current situation. With our bookkeepers already set up to work remotely, we don’t need to work on your premises at all and can continue to process your books without the need for any personal contact.

We understand that now is more important ever for businesses to be cost effective, outsourcing means you only pay for the work completed and you do not have to pay for office space, the main benefit to you if you are currently doing you bookkeeping is that it frees up your time to allow you to focus on your business development which is a much better use of your time.

Our experience is second to none

Rosemary Bookkeeping have over 60 years worth of experience in our network, not only do you benefit from the professional cost effective bookkeeping of your local Bookkeeper but you can be reassured that they also have the back up and support of a national network and central head office.

We can work with you to:

  • Choose the best bookkeeping package for you
  • Carry out a bookkeeping healthcheck to make sure everything is up to date and where it should be
  • Keep your bookkeeping up to date on a weekly, monthly or quarterly basis
  • Provide reports to help you monitor your businesses finances
  • Help you choose a suitable digital file transfer programme for ongoing remote bookkeeping
  • Arrange contactless collection of paperwork if paperwork can’t be transferred to a digital form

Covid-19 Risk Assessments

You are required to carry out your own Covid-19 risk assessment prior to re-opening your premises. If you require us to do any work on your site you will need to send us a copy of your back to work risk assessment to ensure we are all working safely.

We will also complete our own Risk Assessment.

How we’re keeping our customers safe

Due to the social distancing guidance, we’ve had to change how we operate slightly:

• During the clean we will carry out all bookkeeping work as far as practically possible remotely to avoid the need for personal contact all together

• If we do need to come to your building to collect or drop off paperwork, we will respect Government 2 metre social distancing guidelines

• Paperwork for collection should be placed in a suitable container

• We will ring the doorbell or intercom, then take two steps back from the door, please place the container with paperwork on the ground in front of the doorway and step back 2m or close the door, we will then collect the paperwork in the container from the safe distance.

• If we are returning paperwork, we will follow the above procedure

What are we doing? We are taking extra hygiene precautions which will include:

• We are washing & sanitising our hands more regularly, and will do so before and after handling any client paperwork

• We are working remotely wherever possible

• We are available on video chat for virtual meetings if our clients wish to discuss anything

• If we have to come to your premises we will follow your H&S guidelines as long as they follow and meet or exceed those set out by the UK government and our own

Thank you for your co-operation during this difficult time.
